Dr. Larry Chow
Optometrist
Dr. Chow was born and raised in Vancouver. After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 1995. Dr. Chow also completed an internship at the Eye Foundation of Utah, Salt Lake City, which focused on the treatment and management of eye diseases guided by a team of optometrists and ophthalmologists. Dr. Chow practiced throughout the Lower Mainland before deciding to establish his own practice in the Tri-Cities. With advances and new technologies in eye health, he keeps pace with the latest developments in the treatment and management of ocular disease.
Dr. Chow is a member of the BC and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. He is Canadian Board certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases.
Lesley Chow
Office Manager & Optometric Assistant
Lesley has been working with Dr. Chow since 1998 as an optometric assistant and office manager. In 2009, Lesley received her Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant's designation and was presented with an Award of Merit for outstanding scholastic achievement, obtaining the highest overall score of her graduating class. Lesley will be happy to assist you with selecting your new frames and lenses from our diverse ophthalmic collection or help you with your contact lens fitting.
Alice
Receptionist and Optometric Technician
Alice joined the Shaughnessy Optometry in 2023 as a receptionist and optometric technician. She will be happy to set your appointment for an eye exam and assist with various optometric tests and scans.
